John Will Continue
Leading on Health Care
As costs rise and federal threats to health care funding continue, residents deserve a representative who will protect care, strengthen local hospitals, and lower costs. As Chair of the Joint Committee on Health Care Financing, John has been at the center of some of Massachusetts' most important health care debates, bringing together providers, patients, advocates, and policymakers to deliver real results.
To lead on health care, John has:
Protected Massachusetts health care from $3.5 billion in federal cuts
Lowered out-of-pocket costs for life-saving prescription drugs
Authored and passed legislation to prevent workplace violence against health care workers
Secured an additional $234 million for hospitals, community health centers, and health care providers
Every family deserves the peace of mind that comes from knowing they find quality care close to home. Not only does John understand that, but he's spent his career working to make health care more accessible and affordable. He'll continue protecting reproductive freedom, supporting the health care workers we rely on every day, and making sure Massachusetts remains a national leader in health care for everyone.
