Climate change is a challenge we're facing head on here at home. From stronger storms and flooding to rising energy costs, the impacts are being felt across our district. Meeting this moment requires leadership that protects our environment while building a cleaner, more resilient future for the next generation.

To tackle climate change, John has:

• Supported investments in clean energy and energy efficiency

• Backed initiatives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions statewide

• Secured $50,000 for tree plantings and $100,000 for improvements to parks in district to reduce the heat island and canopy gaps

• Advanced policies that create clean-energy jobs while protecting our natural resources
